Hey, can my band be added to the list as well? We're a 3 piece indie rock band from NJ and have been playing gigs since October 2011. We're heading to Dewey Beach in Delaware to play a couple shows in a few weeks and in August are gonna play gigs up the cost in NY, Vermont, and maybe Montreal.
I just spotted this thread. Good uke leads here. I've been listening a lot to a band I recently ran across. I mentioned them the other day in the video section here the site. Band name is Wild Child and feature ukulele, violin, cello, banjo etc. and a pair of voices that sound great together. Maybe 7 members or so. They write some very interesting songs. Been together about a year I think, and spring from the Austin club scene. Here's a link to the music section of their website:
jello all,
I am in a band that uses tenor uke for guitar, U-bass for da bass, and drums for the drums...since we haven't found a ukulele drumset yet.

I just stumbled into 'Danielle Ate the Sandwich' and am really impressed with her. Danielle is a ukulele player/singer/songwriter and sometimes fronts a band consisting of upright bass, violin and ukulele. She does great covers and writes some dang good songs. She has a pretty big Youtube presence:
