I have one and really like it. Great out of the box. Nicely made case.

Personal preference, I don't care for the "possum plate" resonator tone and removed it. Open backed is brighter and a little louder. You should mention that there are 1/8 inch thick plastic washers on the screws, between the resonator and hoop. The back isn't completely closed.

I'll throw my endorsement in for these Gold Tone banjo ukes as well. They play and sound great. The nut width on vintage banjo ukulele can vary wildly (and some can sound thin), but these have a very comfortable spec and consistently good tone. Nice case, too!
 
I am ready to sell this one so dropped the price again. As others have kindly said--it's a wonderfully sounding and playing bajolele.
