[The Big Kahuna]

My sis and niece chatting with Sam Rosen at the Holualoa Ukulele Gallery. Great guy to chat with! Must be that laid back island lifestyle. Nah, he's just a cool dude.

Sam is a great bloke, we spent a very entertaining hour speaking to him when we finally found the store. Here's a couple of pics I took of the place:

David's pics are so surreal.

I want to try his technique when I go to Hawaii next. If you get there before me, try it.

Go to a beach, put your camera on a tripod, fit an ND10 Neutral Density filter and take a few long (between 30 seconds and 2 minutes) exposures of the sea.

Big Island breakfast... SPAM 'n eggs with Ponalu'u Kalakoa sweetbread (guava, mango & taro) and fresh pineapple and papaya! Yeah, the eggs got a little overdone... lol
