Check out this Ohta-San Special, auction now at $39.00? No idea what this is, but there's loads of nice and oddball ukes on the Buyee site from Japan. I just watched a nice Bruko sell for $53;00.on there.

Note that this is not a Kamaka.
Likely a laminate as listed new for less than $200 elsewhere.

I'd expect $80 if shipping to the US, but it will likely be very securely packed.. like triple boxed with plenty of packing material. And very fast once it makes it to the international shipper.

Thanks and thanks for saving me from having to buy it. Had it in my cart for a few days while considering if I really wanted it. Wasn't looking to buy a Kamaka but that price was so tempting.

Oh yes, I’ve seen that one before. Definitely a HF-1. The HF-2s of that time period have more than 12 frets. 14 or 16 I believe.
