For those who can't decide if they want to play an 8-string or a 4-string ukulele, now you don't have to make the difficult choice! Here's the Ortega Guitars "Custom Built Series" Hydra, a Double Neck 4 & 8 String Tenor Acoustic-Electric Ukulele w/Logoed Gig Bag. It's so much fun to play, and jump between the necks for song verses and choruses. And talk about turning some heads... when you pull this uke out, people notice! Great for Uke Jams, you have 2 ukes to choose from! It has a built-in preamp with a tuner (a very helpful feature with 12 strings to tune), and a 3 way pickup selection switch, each pickup separately and then both together. It sounds great plugged into an amp, and acoustically it also has a decent, solid sound. The beveled body is comfortable on your forearm, and the slotted headstocks put all the gold tuners in easy access. This is a uke you will want a strap for, but once strapped, it's easy and fast to change necks.

The build features Ovangkol Top, Back & Sides, with open pore finish, mahogany necks, walnut fretboard, bridge, armrest and fretboard binding. And nice tortoise style binding. These are $400 everywhere, get this one for $275 + actual shipping and Ins (priced for Paypal F&F, if you want to do Goods and Services just add on the fees they charge me). I'm happy to answer any questions or send more pics, just let me know. Thanks for looking!
