Well... time to reevaluate:
Giants today are at 77-77, a perfect 0.500 record with eight games to go...
Couldn't make it to 87 wins no matter what. But would have easily taken a playoff spot if they had. Definitely a disappointment.
Worse yet, they still might get passed by Padres! And end up finishing fourth in the division!
They never made that impact trade, and needed to call up the entire Farm System just to get through the year.
Couldn't get past Arizona...
And now the Brandon Crawford retirement rumor mill is grinding at full speed...
