First foray into slack key guitar

I’m mostly a uke player, but I also play around on guitar here and there. Recently, I’ve been trying to learn Hawaiian slack key guitar. Here’s the first piece from Ozzie Kotani’s book Guitar Playing Hawaiian Style, called Kani Ki Ho’alu (slack key sound). Hope you enjoy!

Haha yeah I know what you mean…when I play uke for a few weeks without picking up my guitar and then decide to give it a whirl, it feels comically huge. There’s like an extra foot and a half of frets to worry about…

Nice, but it probably wasn’t necessary to post to thee different forums .

I play some slack key ukulele tunes, and have been contemplating trying it on guitar. There are vastly more resources for guitar than ukulele,but I haven’t picked up a guitar for 35 years.
