Ukulele size in Cliff Edwards video - Hang on to me

Hi guys!

I was studying this song, watching Cliff Edwards playing in this movie clip on youtube, and I was wondering which size of ukulele is this:



I'm not used to other sizes than Soprano, and I can't be sure if it's a Concer or a Tenor. to me it looks like a Tenor, but I also don't know if Tenors were already made in 1935.

PS: how great was he's playing? I'm trying to figure out how to play like him, with that smoothness in the strum, and the fast chords with passage notes. looking at him it looks so easy, but the harmony is not that simple and he flies on the neck.

usually in his recordings there's always the double bass moving the harmony, I have a couple of CDs and most tracks are like this, voice, ukulele and double bass.

As a side note - I always love it when that clip pops up here in a thread. I forget about it in between, and then get to enjoy it all over again!
