Uke class question: I'd like to hear from other teachers, if possible.

What's wrong with having a lefty in class? Having to convert an instrument, or are they harder to teach/learn?

Advice from a left-handed ukulele teacher. In addition to what he says, in a classroom situation, kids naturally copy and learn from what each other is doing, so doing the same thing is going to be easier for everyone in the class. Also, did you know that Corey & Kalei from TUS are both naturally left-handed? You can watch how they play in the TUS videos and see if you would like to learn to play like that.

It's an interesting topic. I wonder if there are any righties out there that play left-handed for the fretting advantage.
