Soprano in body pickup impact tone?

Curious to know if in body pickups have an impact on tonal quality for small body ukes, specifically sopranos. Anyone have experience or opinions?

I installed a LR Baggs on a K1-S that I recently sold here on the marketplace. I didn’t notice anything negatively that impacted sound quality.

I've never had a soprano with a pickup, but have often wondered how the punchy sop sound would translate to a pickup, compared to the larger sizes? And, how a good thinline sop would fare.
