If this will help your sale; in mid 2014 I called Mim to recommend a tenor cutaway AE uke, she immediately said this Kala. She didn't take trade-ins, so I went to McCabe's in Santa Monica. They also had $1000-1200 Kamaka and Martin, which I played side-by-side with the Kala and to me it held it's own against them. It became my go-to uke with lots of projection and sustain.
