I can't say I've seen more brands show up at dealers in the US. Almost seems like Kiwaya ukes are harder to find in stock too. Love to see more Asturias and Tkitki distribution here. If you're seeing more please let me know where.
Seems to me that made-in-Japan ukuleles are harder to buy now in the USA than before the pandemic. I don't know if the global supply is lower or US dealers just aren't importing as many as before. Also, some US dealers are charging huge price markups over Japan retail prices. I bet that Japanese ukuleles are easier to sell in other Asian countries like China, Korea, Taiwan, and Singapore.
