Kamakakēhau Fernandez was born in Arkansas and adopted as a baby to a Hawaiian family in Maui who raised him with the Hawaiian language and culture. Today, he is an award winning ukulele player and Hawaiian-language singer who regularly performs in Honolulu. This documentary is mostly his music with some stories mixed in.
