The maple neck is a lovely change, something that really makes it stand out. Like you, though, I won't consider it if the strap button is standard. I have ukes already with woodfiller and wax trying to disguise screw holes—don't need another.

An update direct from the horse's mouth: all of these sopranos do come fitted with a strap button as standard. Which is a shame, but apparently the vast majority of people ask for one anyway and they're not a large enough operation to be able to take time fitting them when requested.
