Searching online can be perilous, but sometimes rewarding.

I was looking for a less than full size guitar, and the Cadete was always something I had my eye on.

I saw a listing on goodwill finds, and saw a price of $63, marked down from $175. With shipping, and a $10 off coupon code, I got it delivered for $67 and change.

Had to put new strings on it, but it sounds nice! Made in 2006. Still a bit longer than I want, but I’m very happy with it.

That's a great find. I own one and am very happy with it. I bought it used as well but no where near the deal you have. The scale length of 23" is about as short as you can go and still have it sound good tuned E-E. I had a guitarlele with a 21" scale length and no matter how many different string sets I tried it sounded dull and string tension was too low tuned E-E.
