I'm a bit skeptical of that last set. Looks like you are going to be gluing end grain. Usually not a good practice.
Thank you. It glued up well and made it through the drum sander. It appears to not be end grain, but only time will tell if it stays together. It is the only tenor in the bunch. IMG_4709.jpeg
 
I have only used center strip reinforcements on baritones, but wouldn't hesitate on a tenor if I was worried about long term durability of end-grain seam on the back. No downside that I can see.

I tried to find a picture of the original board. It was 4/4 walnut, not end grain. I will hunt for the picture. I resawed it.
