A few people have told me about this event. I guess it is kind of small, but a real nice time. John Anderson there and will be playing his uke.
In most of the workshops offered it seems to be primarily an intro to whatever instrument, with the presenter demonstrating. There are sometimes people with their own instruments taking part, but that seems to have been the exception in the past.
There are free primitive campsites at the festival, there are B&B's in town, there is a Hampton Inn in Batesville, campgrounds at Brookville Lake. There is a chance that the campground across the road may be re-opened by then but we can't count on that yet. metamoraindiana.com has most of the pertinent lodging info on it.
