Machete Tuning Strings

I’ve been using Southcoast “Machete” strings on my soprano.

Needless to say I’ll soon run out, may he rest.

That’s d’—g’—b’—d’’

Is anyone making strings that would work for that?

If not, how would you solve that problem? Unfortunately, “Just buy a Machete” isn’t in the budget this year…

Hi, just seeing this. Did you ever find any? The Canarian Timple is a 5 string instrument tuned g’c’’e’a’d’’.

Timple sets are listed on the Strings by mail site.

The e’ should work for d’, the g’ should be fine as is, and f not the a’ shouod tune down nicely. the c’’ should work as b’, and then you have the d’’
