About a month or so back I asked on UU and on Mandolin Cafe.Com, what to do with my vintage Gibson Mandola. It had a few cracks. Some people suggested Big Joe Guitar works in Tennessee. I ended up picking Big Joe to do the restore. A lot of the folks that posted comments also requested progress pictures. Well here is the first batch of pictures from Big Joe. This is basically the starting point. Big joe said he has been trying to re hydrating for the past 3 weeks. Once he feels he's dehydrated it enough he will begin fixing cracks and things. I will post additional pictures as Big Joe sends them to me. Please let me know what you all think. Thanks for your help as always. I definitely think Big Joe will make the baby able to sing again.
