Low G Strings

I want to get some low G strings. Decided (I think) between Aquila 8U Concert (low G). or Aquila 86U Red Series (low G). Can anyone give me some guidance as to what might be the best bet?

Look at the specs at Aquila website and note the differences. What is better for you only you can decide. Strings are cheap so get both sets, compare, and report which one you prefer.

Honestly, the only Aquilla low-G string set that I have liked is the AGxAQ nylon strings with the red low-G. I don't like the feel of the complete red set or the Nylgut sets. I also like the complete sets from La Bella (which includes the flat-wound G string that they make themselves) and the PhD all-fluorocarbon low-G set.

Thanks gents, I have ordered the Aquila 8U set along with a new ‘no knot tailpiece. Will see what it sounds like.
