What do you plan for food on July 4th? For lunch I was going to Bao Dim Sum House in Los Angeles with a friend, but she cancelled, which I might do on my own. Aside from that, I'm on the 5th floor of my apartment building, from the balcony I can see portions of 8 fireworks shows around the city. I haven't gone out to a show for many years, content to grill a lower sodium chicken sausage, and on the side, unsalted corn chips, mild salsa verde, hummus and sparkling water. I'm being wary of higher blood pressure.
