Hi all,
My youngest daughter and her friends at uni have been making extraordinary efforts in support of a charity I have only recently heard of. The Harry Potter Alliance, as the name suggests, uses the fanbase of JK Rowling's character as a ready-made pool of charity activists. The bulk of supporters seem to be young people. So far they have achieved a great deal, not least significant contributions to aid for victims of the Haiti earthquake.
Here's info about the HPA: http://www.thehpalliance.org/about-us/
Please consider voting for this great charity at the Chase Community Giving page on Facebook - http://apps.facebook.com/chasecommunitygiving/charities/208045792-hp-alliance-inc. A win could award them $250,000 to help them continue their work.
Thanks.
