Hello everyone -- nice to find a place to talk ukes. I began playing more than 50 years ago, as the child of a woman who learned the uke during the first great wave of interest in the instrument in the 1920s. Grew up and grew old playing guitar and bass, and have now come home to the dear little box-with-strings that my mother taught me to strum so long ago. Hope to learn and hear a lot from the people here.
