I have this up on REVERB.COM and have decided to put it up for sale here for considerably less. I am looking for $875 mailed CONUS.

This C.F. Martin Style 1 Tenor ukulele dates to the late 1940/50’s. As ukes from this period do not carry serial numbers, precise dating is difficult if not impossible. It is of all mahogany construction except for the rosewood bridge and fingerboard. The top is bound with faux tortoise plastic and the rosette is a simple black-white purfling arrangement. It is in excellent playing condition and while it has expected play and usage wear, it is structurally sound. Roughly, 70-years old and there are only cosmetic issues, scratches, and scrapes on some parts of the body, especially the back. No cracks, no repairs, no gaps, no holes, and the neck is straight. It plays beautifully with a super warm vintage tone. It even has a faded autograph from Jake Shimabukuro on the back. It is now strung with Savarez classical guitar strings. The original case is long gone, but a vintage chipboard case will be included.
