For sale: Ludwig Wendell Hall banjo ukulele
What some may consider as a "holy grail" ukulele.
It has an exceptional sound and is perfectly playable as is. I toyed with the thought of restoring it to new but couldn't bring myself to remove the natural effects of time and it's history. As you can see from the photos if one wanted to restore it, it wouldn't take much work. The obvious shellac flaking off, and missing thin ebony heel cap are far too common with these. A crack in the fretboard from it drying out over the years but nothing else to really scoff at. The head is tight, the action is very comfortable, the hardware has next to no rust and should polish up amazing. The case is original which is a sweet plus and it being functional and still usable is the cherry on top. I can also send plenty more pictures of it upon request.
