I would not buy the Donner "carbon fiber" at their regular price. I like it, but it's not worth $70-85. I paid $24 for the green and $40 for the black and am perfectly happy to be able to take them just about anywhere under just about any conditions. Yes, we all crave koa, but let's be realistic...

As of today, these ukes have a 50% off coupon on amazon. Total was $42 and some change for the black one. Coupon tick box is on all but the white color. I have another Donner uke and one of the little clear plastic dust covers for the tuner gears popped out and vanished.
