Bryan Tolentino on Hi*Sessions podcast this week

I really enjoyed this week's Hi*Sessions podcast featuring professional ukulele player Bryan Tolentino. The first half of the podcast discusses ukulele camps where amateurs (like most of us) can hang out with the professionals for a week that is full of scheduled group workshops, private lessons, jam sessions, and concerts. Group size is a lot smaller than your typical ukulele festival, so you really do get to hang out with the instructors. Bryan taught at George Kahumoku's camp in Maui last spring and is teaching at Jake Shimabukuro's camp in Nashville this summer. The second half of the podcast demonstrates Bryan's ukulele technique and they also have some time to critique their ukulele friends Herb and Jake. Note that the camera isn't aimed very well and you don't see much of Bryan's face until he starts playing his ukulele in the second half of the show.
