Song Help Request Approach to phrasing and dynamics on Bach’s Cello Suite No 1 - Prelude

Greetings,

Curious if anyone has input as to the phrasing of this piece. I’ve read that it was written in 3 voices and especially the first 4-6 measures, performances sound like the first note or 2 is slowed down compared to the rest of each measure. I believe this is known as playing rubato. Does this resonate without anyone?

I am more like a novice in music but it does add a lot of emotion and ‘feel’ to by playing rubato. Otherwise it sounds a little ‘robotic’ and stiff. Not affiliated to this guy in any way. Just love his playing.
