Hey all!
I am selling this rare 1918 Martin Soprano as it has become the least played soprano I own and hate to have it just put away and not being enjoyed. It is in extremely good condition considering it being 105 years old. There are no cracks or previous repairs and is in perfect playing condition. There is slight finish wear at the very top of the neck that is shown in the close up picture but other than that the finish is remarkable. I have never seen another one with such gorgeous wood on the fret board. The action, the neck and all frets are perfect. This comes with a soft padded case and the original burlap(?) bag that the ukulele came in. The bag has holes worn through it so not really useable but it is the original.
I am pricing this to sell and it's well below what other vintage Martin's, in much worse condition, are selling for. Check out THIS one on Reverb that has a broken tuning peg and a big hole right through the bottom. I am asking $1,050 USD which will include shipping to lower 48 U.S. states. I feel that this is a fair price and is how much I have invested in it. Here is a chance to not only own a piece of history but to have a beautiful looking/sounding, ready to play Martin Soprano with Martin M600 fluorocarbon string set. I will be happy to answer any questions that I can. Thanks for looking.
