Selling my Bonanza dreadnought baritone in order to fund a purchase. I am the original owner, and I got it in 2019. It's in mint condition, and it looks, sounds, and plays great. A non-original Kala gig bag is included. Shipping is free to the lower 48, and I will not ship internationally. I'm happy to answer questions. Thanks for looking!

Looks like a spruce top? Thin body?

The top is Aspen, body is Walnut. Nope, it's not a thinline. I had Pete make me a full depth baritone, since I already had a Bonanza Oreo

Is this built with a routered out body like the Oreo series, or is it a more conventional build with separate sides, front, and back? How is the tone? Does the full body give it more resonance and volume than the Oreo?

I have a Homestead thinline tenor that sounds pretty good, but the tone is not very complex. It seems like fuller bodied instruments almost have a bit of reverb that adds complexity. They aren’t necessarily louder, though.

That’s a lovely uke. Does “dreadnought” mean it’s larger than a typical baritone?

Ha! Nope, it's just a baritone, as the pictures indicate, I just told Pete that I wanted a "dreadnought-looking" baritone. Of course, it didn't end up looking just like a smaller Martin D-18 guitar, as I had intended. But it turned out to look, play, and sound pretty good, regardless.

and yes, Steve, it is built just like the other Bonanzas Pete builds.

This one's sold. Thanks!
