I took a chance on one of these last year and am posting this review because I literally have not seen any mention of them aside from Amazon's site where I bought mine:

I was pretty impressed with the overall build. It seems well put together.

I believe it is likely just a re-branded uke churned out by a factory in China.

The binding is quite cool and unusual.

I enjoy playing it a lot. There are lot of postives in its favor, but here are the negatives:

-Unsurprisingly, it could use a setup. The action is somewhat high. It would benefit from having the nut grooves filed a bit, and having the saddle shaved down a tad.

-While it has a sweet little sound for a laminate, it does not have great volume or projection. If you drive it by strumming with some energy, it gets some bark, but played softly or fingerpicked it is quite soft and mellow. I use it mainly for practicing at night or when lower volume is called for. It does have some life in the tone; it's just not very loud or commanding.

Has anyone even heard of these?
