What can you tell me about this uke?

Hey all!

This uke came up on a local marketplace. It's not a brand I'm familiar with and my spot research didn't reveal much. Is anyone familiar?

Thanks!

Interesting. Thank you. Seller claims they bought it in Hawaii but that's not evidence of it's actual origin. Anyway it's basically new and they're only asking $30 for it. Seemed like a good deal so I bought it. Picking it up Sunday so...we'll see!

Very odd that the caption to your photo is "Enya EUT-X1C" but the logo on the ukulele in the photo is an Islander (unknown model). Islander is the value-priced import brand from the company that owns this forum. If you click on the "shop" tab at the top of this page, you can find descriptions for some of their models.

Looks too nice to be a value model. If it plays as well as it looks it's a winner.

Appears to be this one :

I have a solid acacia tenor Islander. Nice uke. They use the wider 38mm nut width on all their models which was a selling point for me.
