Strings for a 21 inch scale Aria, classical guitar

On my short scale guitar, Aria, 21 inch scale I would like to know what strings would be best. I like nice warm mellow sounding strings. I also like strings that are loud enough to be heard well without an amp. What do you suggest I purchase? I am mostly a fingerpicker who does only a little strumming. I play mostly popular and old favorites, and folk.

I tune my 20 in scale G to G with light classical strings and E to E with extra Heavy. Should work fine for you with those. Maybe heavy is enough for E to E.

I sometimes use the Pepe Romero Strings Guilele Set (UG1) tuned G to G on my Baritone 6 (20" scale). Nice silky tone.

Hmm, warm/mellow could be a good fit for the Thomastik Infeld sets, either CF127 or CF128. You probably have to be willing to tune up a bit though to get the tension and volume you like - no more than 3 half steps though (G to G) and you might get by with less
