I'm so proud of myself I'm gonna cry

I just played blitz chess in a tournament full of people far more experienced than me and I got 4th place.

I'm so ridiculously excited and proud of myself right now. I know 4th isn't a huge deal but these were people 600 to 700 points higher than me. I should have been dead last.

I also understand I just got lucky and had a good day and was in good form...still...so elated about this.

Yup. Time pressure does not help. I enjoy the adrenaline though.
