What will you use it for? And what is your budget? There are soooo many different options and price points when it comes to amps.

I'm always curious why the question is, "what's the best..." There is no BEST, only what suits the individual. I would phrase the question, "What amps are out there to use with a ukulele?" As @Duck1 said, how you're going use it, how much can you spend. I also ask if you need it to have a battery.

It depends what you mean by "small". I've owned a few small amps which turned out to be too small, and landed with this Orange Crush Acoustic 30 which does everything I need it to very nicely

I like my “Koolmusic” BP40D, Portable, 2 channels (40 watts x2), and battery powered, that weighs only 18 lbs.
It replaces my Fender Acoustisonic jr. 40 watt that weighs 43 lbs.
