    I will be buying my first “forever uke. Which one should it be?

    I believe that life is too short to play cheap ukuleles. My advice- play what you have while you save enough to get the “Holy Grail “ of ukes, the Martin 5K soprano. It’s truly a forever instrument, one you will pass on to your loved ones, and it’s all the uke you will ever want or need.

    Last weekend, my wife and her 5-year old granddaughter were dancing to the Hippy Hoppy Shake. Next time they do I'll have my camera with me to record it for posterity! What's more fun than seeing children (of all ages) dance to your music. Great fun!!

    The Martin 5K Soprano is considered by many to be the "holy grail." Simply, the best of the best. And the wonderful thing about these grails is that they can still be purchased. Martin 5K's are expensive but worth it!
