Welcome to the UU forums, and (possibly) welcome back to ukulele (if you decide to pick it up again). What do you think are the factors that have stopped you from playing ukulele in the past? Is there anything we can suggest to help you pick up your ukulele and continue to play it?

That can depend on a lot more factors than just the tensile strength of the string. If the nut slot has a rough spot, if there's a flaw in the string, if there's a rough spot on the bridge, a rough spot in the tuning peg... there are likely other factors, but the point is it's not just about...
