Pono MS question

I’m thinking of buying this used Pono. Do you think the “2” means it is a second?
 
Yup. It’s usually not a bad thing, though. One of my favorite ukes is a Pono 2nd. The rosette doesn’t have the most brilliant abalone ring (actually, a lot of the rosette looks pretty rough, but you rarely see it) but it plays and sounds absolutely wonderful.
 
I just noticed that the label states “hand crafted in china” I know the Pono factory is in Indonesia So that’s a bit curious.
 
The older batches of Pono were made in China. I used to own one of them. build wise was compatible with the later Indonesian ones.
