Low G for Rebel Mango Double Cream Soprano?

I've had a La Bella 908 Classical Guitar 4th String on my Rebel Mango Soprano for a week and I'd say it's a success! The volume of the La Bella is very close to the fluorocarbon C, E and A strings and the tone blends. Most of my ukuleles are re-entrant so a Low G soprano is a fun alternative. It still sounds like a soprano but the low G opens up melodic options.

The thing about strings is they, along with plectra, represent your physical connection to the instrument. That makes it very personal.

Fortunately, strings are fairly inexpensive. It’s worth your while to try as many strings as you can. The best for someone else’s playing might not be the best for yours. “Best” just means, “Best for you, with your fingers, your technique, the music you want to play.” Someone else is going to choose differently.
